Scribing or Live Drawing is the process of an artist recording events in real time in the form of a collage of drawings and text based on discussions and talking points from participants and speakers throughout the day.

SAU Recommended Rates of Pay 2025-2026

£44.90 per hour.

£359.20 p/day (£179.60 p/ ½ day).

Day rates are based on an 8-hour day, minimum ‘call’ is for a 4-hour session. Additional hours over 8-hours should be at a minimum of the appropriate hourly rate.
